It’s not about waiting for the job to come around. It’s about putting in the work so you’re ready when the opportunity shows up.
Sometimes all it takes is continuing to grow, following up, and letting people know how far you’ve come.

A look into my job last week, at the annual Battle of the Paddles table tennis match for Super Bowl Week as a PTZ Camera Operator.
A PTZ op uses a controller and monitor setup to move, zoom and focus on 360 cameras placed around an area.
For this shoot, I had 3 cameras to move around during the livestream.

I love being able to share my story and journey in film with others. My hope is to give present and future filmmakers hope and advice on how they can get grow in the industry.
I have started a blog (and podcast in the near future) on Substack where I will share tips & tricks to grow your network, make your own films, and even feature behind-the-scenes content from sets I’ve worked on. It will have all of my videos from here and YouTube as well.
